Changelog
New updates and improvements to Individu.
Individu, Anywhere
Apart from the main interface that is here to stay, Individu is now avaliable on Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, Discord, Telegram and more to come.
Mention or DM the Individu bot and use Individu like you normally would, conversations get split into history that's also viewable on the web app, switch topic new chat, go back to the topic from before continue in that chat.
Remind me
Tell Individu "remind me when ..." and it will keep checking until it happens. You get a follow up in the same chat when it drops. If a release gets cancelled or scrapped you will hear that too and it stops checking.
The Personalization update
This release let's you make your workspace actually yours.
AI Presets
Individu already integrates heavily into your workflow, however to make it even more yours. We are introducing 3 style presets
- Default: The Individu you already know, however more fine-tuned.
- Business: A more serious work focused Individu for enterprise
- Personal: Friend-like replies, uses emoji's mimicks a real friend
Custom instructions
Have a certain frustration with the AI it's behavior, terminate it once and for all by adding custom instructions.
Themes
Furnish your new workspace choosing between new multiple themes.
Go, Go Power users!
This update will introduce a set of default keybinds to get where you wanna go even quicker.
Background assistants
Individu now learns what you do and will run background assistants to check certain notifications and tasks for you. For example if you get emailed a meeting invite Individu will sum it up for you and have a button ready to accept or reject the meeting. But the possibilities are endless or if you tend to check the same documents/tickets for updates it will let you know when there's updates starting now.
"You"'ve never been more productive
This release makes Individu more powerful than ever without you even having to do anything for it. As usual.
Todos? Done
Individu now runs assistants periodically to see if any of your todo's can safely be done and will recap you on what happened whenever you come back to the app. Can't get it over your heart to let AI do your todo's, you can turn this off.
Work work work work workflows
You or your assistant can now create workflows which is just a set of tools run at a specific time recurringly opening up stuff like "On sunday 12 AM sync all my "billing" documents from onedrive to the notion "billing" page".
Following up
When you started something from a chat (for example a Cursor background assistant) instead of having to ask for updates, AI will automatically keep checking for changes and continue the conversation when changes occur.
Multiple accounts per integration
You can now add multiple accounts per integration, this is especially useful in cases where people have multiple email accounts or social media profiles on the same platform and unlocks a variety of syncing between accounts on the same platform.
Group chats
For shared productive sessions we now support realtime group chats, work together with one assistant and have subassistant for interaction with your own connected integrations and don't worry, other people can't have AI do stuff on your behalf.
Push notifications
We now have togglable push notifictions for all the above and the known periodic homescreen briefings. So you don't even have to check in to know what's happening.
Subassistants
By using subassistants for each task your chat context stays focused, AI won't forget stuff and halucinate things that haven't happened, keeps your main assistant's context window clean.
Initial Release
Connect the apps you use every day and never open a dozen tabs again. Individu brings your work into one place. You chat, the assistant remembers what you share, and every conversation is saved so you can revisit or share any thread. Here's what's in 1.0.
Homescreen
The homescreen adapts to the time of day. A briefing summarizes what's relevant for the moment, and recommendations suggest actions or prompts you might want to run. Content is generated for morning, midday, and evening so the first thing you see is tuned to when you're there.
Chat that remembers
The assistant learns about you as you chat. When you share preferences, facts, or goals, it saves them to your personal memory so future conversations stay relevant.
Memory is separate from chat history: it's a distilled set of facts the AI uses to personalize replies. You can view, search, and remove individual facts, or clear everything, from the Memory page. New facts are merged with what's already stored, so memory stays concise and up to date.
Conversation history
Every chat is stored with its messages and any visual artifacts. The History page shows your recent conversations and artifacts in one place. Chats get short, auto-generated titles after the first exchange. Reopening a thread is fast: we prefetch chat data when you hover over a conversation so it loads instantly when you click.
Artifacts
When the assistant shows comparisons, galleries, or structured info, it can render them as rich artifacts: side-by-side tables, image grids, product-style cards, or simple lists. Artifacts are saved with the chat and show up in history. You can share a single artifact via its own link.
Sharing conversations
Share any conversation with a link. Choose public (anyone with the link) or restricted (only certain email addresses). The shared view is a snapshot: only messages and artifacts up to the moment you shared are visible. You can update the snapshot to include new messages, or keep it fixed.
If someone else shares a chat with you, you can fork it: copy that snapshot into a new chat and continue in your own space.
Resumable streams
If the tab closes or the connection drops while the assistant is replying, you can reopen the chat and pick up where you left off. The active stream is tracked so responses resume instead of restarting.
Tasks from chat
Tell the assistant what you need to do or be reminded about. It can create tasks with titles, descriptions, due dates, and priority. Tasks appear in your Tasks list and can trigger reminders. You can complete, update, or cancel them from the app or by talking in chat.
Voice input
Use your microphone to speak instead of typing. Voice is streamed and transcribed in real time into the chat input so you can send or edit before submitting.
20+ Integrations
We will start with 20+ integrations for launch adding more and more to enhance workflows and fulfill your needs, we will also keep updating current integrations by adding new tooling if there is any avaliable on their side.
Email and search
Draft and send emails from chat. The assistant can show email cards (to, subject, body) and send them when you confirm. It can also search the web and use image search when that's useful for your question.
