Stripe notifications in Individu

Availability

Individu notifications is approved for external testing in Stripe. Public Marketplace installation and broad live enrollment are still awaiting verification and review. Connecting Stripe for assistant tools does not by itself enable live notifications. Polling remains available for supported events where push delivery has not been verified.

Connect your account

Sign in to Individu, open Apps, choose Stripe, and connect your own Stripe account. When live notifications are available for your connection, choose Connect live notifications and authorize Individu notifications for that same Stripe account. An administrator may need to approve the installation.

The notification authorization is separate from your assistant-tools connection. Individu verifies the account identity and current event state before using the feed. You do not need to create a webhook manually or send us an API key.

Choose your events

Payment failed covers a failed PaymentIntent, including charge or invoice failures linked to a PaymentIntent. Legacy charges or invoices without one remain outside verified push coverage. New subscription covers a newly created customer subscription. Choose these events in your Stripe connection settings. This integration does not promise alerts for disputes, payouts, refunds or every subscription change.

Individu checks current provider state and filters duplicates, historical activity and disabled events before assessing whether a candidate is useful. Related ordinary activity can be grouped for approximately 30 seconds, with a maximum batching wait of 60 seconds. Your notification preferences, usage allowance and active-conversation deferral still apply.

Permissions and control

The notification app requests read access to events, account identity, payment intents, charges, invoices and subscriptions. It does not request permission to charge customers, issue refunds, make payouts or change subscriptions.

Turn individual events off in Individu to stop those alerts. Disconnect the account in Individu, or uninstall Individu notifications in Stripe, to revoke the connection. If access expires or changes, reconnect when prompted. Live and Partial coverage describe verified delivery coverage; an installation alone does not establish that every event is covered.

Pricing, privacy and support

Individu offers free and paid plans with different connection and usage allowances. Review the current plans on individu.ai before choosing a subscription. This notification app does not require purchasing a Stripe plan upgrade.

Credentials are encrypted in Individu’s connection store. Read our Privacy Policy and Terms for data handling and account controls.
